I heard a theory that there were 2 Purple Guys. Father and son.
That one makes more sense.

Derp.

Well, Purple Guy was the one who became Springtrap. At the end of the final custom night cutscene in SL's 10/20 mode, his voice changes and in comes Springtrap.
The start of his thing said "Father. It's me, Michael". Purple Guy is the son, and Pink Guy is the father, William. William Afton to be exact.
The girl who became part of Baby was his kid and Michael's supposed sister. She was told to not go near her.
