Description
Okay this one is almost as good as I originally intended to draw, but a little lacking because I couldn't draw shoulder looking things right, and not all that well with insect appendages, but I think it turned out okay...So yeah we all knew Gohma had to be in this game idea in some way or form, but it's in possibly my favorite idea for a Zelda Dungeon, so let's talk turkey...Her design is based off of two separate Gohmas, The original from the first LoZ and The Gohma from Wind Waker
Dungeon Analysis: So after Zelda learns of what Link's intentions were, she ran away, far away, especially far since she has magic powers of course...The trail led you to the Abandoned Harbor...A Water Dungeon, yes...Here there is absolutely no enemies that you can see, not even mini-bosses or boss exclusive enemies...This is the definition of abandoned...But this is what makes it all the more scary, not because you're all alone, but because even though you seem alone, looks can be deceiving..all through looking for Zelda in this ghost town of a harbor, going through the maze like area, you come across a female Zora known as Ruto, when you find Ruto you have to start running, because this is where you find out you're not alone, because rays of lightning will be crashing down on you...As soon as you and Ruto are safe, She would like to thank you by giving you the Dungeon Item that is Ironically "The Roc's Wings", With this item you can actually jump two times into the air, four with an upgrade...She then tells that this place used to be a grand place of worship to the sea god Jabu-Jabu, and just like the Sacred Seven, they destroyed the place to break the will of the Zora people, Ruto was the only one foolish enough to enter this place and she did mention of a Blonde Haired Mystic that came through here and that she headed to the lighthouse...Throughout the rest of the entire segment, Giant claws keep popping out and start firing lightning at you as you try to make your way to the lighthouse, there you finally meet up with Zelda again, and here she threatens to kill you, and you're trying to talk her down, but soon, the boss Makes his identity known as MEKAGOHMA!
Boss Fight Analysis: The first phase of this fight has you climbing this tall lighthouse while dodging Mekagohma's claws and lightning blasts, You Need Mekagohma to destroy the first three floors that lead to the top of the lighthouse, how to do that is simple, by using the Roc's Wings to jump to the platforms jutting out of the sides of the walls, and also start using the Gerudo Revolver to shoot Mekagohma in the eye's armor plating(which i didn't draw), this would agitate the large robot enough to strike at the above floor's weakpoint in order to ascend, do this two more times, then get to the top floor where you can have Zelda create a spiked pillar straight at Mekagohma which sends the boss down to the ground floor, supposedly dead...But Not quite, the only part on Mekagohma is damaged is her eye's armor plating, thus the real fight begins on top of the Lighthouse! Mekagohma starts swinging her arms down at you and shoots numerous balls of electricity at you throughout the entire phase, once she's slammed her claw into the ground and missed, this is your chance to climb up on the claw and start walking toward her eye and start slashing away, the only difference throughout the battle is Mekagohma getting faster and deadlier, she even charges up electric cannon blasts from her eye and lightning ball assault attacks, and tries to chip away the floor that you're standing on...Just keep repeating the phase as normal, the Gerudo Revolver is a good idea too, but you do need to be in a closer range...Once the final blow is struck, the glass eye of Mekagohma is cracked and broken which damages the electric batteries inside the main core which leads to Mekagohma's utter destruction! In the aftermath of it all, Ruto returns to find a Jabu-Jabu Scale under the Lighthouse's main console...She gives it to Link as a thank you for unintentionally liberating the Harbor, and now he can breathe underwater!
But as for the tension between Link and Zelda, Link does apologize for the deception, and promises that nothing bad will happen to her...Zelda disagrees, as she knows exactly what will happen to her when she sets foot on New Hyrule...Link apologizes again, but for something different, this time because he subdues her and chains her arms to her backside and makes sure she doesn't do alchemy by covering her hands in lead plating...Here he uses the lighthouse's communicator to send an airship, Only to find that Groose has been waiting for Link the whole time, They enter the Airship and head back to where it all started, New Hyrule!
