The whole reason for the timeline itself being altered, That Freak is a time-traveling villain sent to help Robotnik take over Mobius, though his true motives are remained unclear...He captures Mobians to do twisted experiments on them for god knows what ends...No one knows what his true evil purposes are, he is as mysterious as he is eccentric...By that I mean, as crazy as a bug eyed nut job villain from a superhero movie from the early 2000's (Say....Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin crazy, but not as cliched)....But like I said, his motives are unknown, and there is only one way to find out his true identity, at least in this continuity because there are more than just one big nosed Overlander in this world, it's practically most of the population...But there are only two things....One, his robotic arm, that's a given....Two, he always carries around King Maxwell Acorn's sword as a trophy, the same sword he used to kill Sally's father with
