A littel touch of optic art "a la Vasarely" , I really love it !
Is it a conversion or a little breath ?

Hey! This is a new style I'm exploring and evolving.
This image is built up using an Image 2 ASCII converter algorithm - basically image gets resized to the desired number of characters per row and each character gets the color of the corresponding pixel. I've set the background to black, as I've felt that's the dominant background and in the end resulted a text document with color associated to each character. I've printed the inverted (negative) of the document on an A4 matte paper. I've scanned it back with the scanner I'm using for my film photography and inverted again. I love the result.
This is an experiment because my intention is to print the negative enlarged, shoot the print using my film camera and because the film captures the negative I will actually have a positive on the film. Use the positive as a diapositive slide and build a projector for it. I'm actually considering hijacking building illumination systems and build projectors to fit on top of such lights ...
Anyway ... style & concept under development ...
Update: Forgot to mention, I'm exploring the transformation of image by passing it through digital & analogue mediums. In this case the image was shot using a digital camera, hence it was stored in bits, digitally edited using Photoshop, more bits, converted to text - this is a cross-over between a digital representation and an analog one - I consider characters to be a form of analog representation of text. Printing enforced the analog representation of the image. Scanning made it digital again.
As I said I'm still playing with this idea - there's more information added to the image at the cross-over step. etc ...
