This is my first contribution to the Fighting Games Elite Projet (here is the link of the website [link] )I wanted to draw a lot of characters, i didn't know wich one to choose. Finally i asked if it was possible to draw a beat them all character. It was. So i picked Axel Stone from street of rage.
It's a lot of memory i used to play Axel, while my brother played Zack. (and my mother played Blaze haha ^^)
About this pic, i did some composition research. At first i wanted to draw him in action, or facing one boss. But it applied to drawn several characters, wich was not allowed in the rules project (or i think so)
Finally i ended choosing the alternative end of the game, in wich you became the boss. I like the idea of the hero choosing to take the power. I think that he deserves it, after having beated the sh.. out of all those freaks

Sweet Jeez, I remember when I chose Yes to being Mr. X's right hand man....and I had to start All over from round one! As a kid back then, that pissed me right off. ~laughs~ It's still a fun game, and with yes chosen today, it just test the skills even further.
That brief moment of nostalgia aside, very nice work you've concocted here.

I read your review. You've noticed some point i was not quite satisfied with. To be honest i kind of wanted to finish it fast. So i was in a hurry and i didn't take enough time to work on the bullets and to clean the lights correctly. 
But i take note about your critics, always constructiv (don't know if it's correct in english)
About my work, i'm a rookie in photoshop, so i take each pic as an opprtunity for improving myself. Although i did the character on my wacom pen, and as i have it since one month, i'm not confortable as i'm with the traditional pen. So i hope i'll mastering it with the time...
Anyway thanks for the review, and i hope i'll manage to upload other pics son (will not be easy with the university and stuff ^^) ++
