Another night faded in the Pridelands, two days after Terra's merciless death.
The queen Uzuri remainned in the den, having a sleeping Nguvu between her arms, while Erevu got up from his sleeping spot and made his way down the priderock, jumping boulder-to-boulder before landing firmly on his paws and turning his cranium side-to-side. Soon, he caught the frames of Murathi and Asali laying next to Ramira, on a rock, and on another, a jealous-looking Olanda, watching after Mohami, as he played with a bird. "Olanda? COuld we talk, in private?" Erevu asked, approaching his daughter; who jerked her ears in surprise and got up "I know this may be a bad time to, but... it will be worth it." he said, Olanda chuckled through her frown "Of course it is, Erevu. Different of you, i need to take care of my son and enjoy doing this. You better be nimble." she growled. And they headed far away from the other lionesses, entering another cave, just when the old, ex-Scar king used to live.
"It is all about your mother." he started, Olanda widenned her eyes in interest and sat down besid him, listenningw ith all audits.
"Her name was Malia, a dark golden lioness, the prettiest i have ever seen, she possessed the most beautiful brown eyes and black maned tail and ears, with a graceful dot on one of her maw-sides. We have met each other during our adolescent age, and she was the member of another pride; but even though our relationship was prohibited, we did not hesitate being together in all situations. And when my mane really started to form, or when we reached our pre-adult ages, whathever you'd rather say... You were born. I know, we were too young for that, but it is just as they say, love ages zero." he chuckled, glancing away, "And... Did Mohatu even found out?" she asked her father, "That's the problem, Olanda. When he did, he first would kill me with his hateful words, before forcing me to show where we used to date. I was held back in the cave, while he furiously ran to the pointed place, in order to meet Malia and end both you and her up, luckily i have pointed the opposite direction. I managed to escape, and arrived our dating point. Your mother was asleep, and i could swear nothing would happen to her, that is when i heard Mohatu's roar not-so-far from there, he have scented the right path towards both of you two, and that's when i had to make the hardest of decisions in my life - I have hidden you between some bushes, just after covering your scent with mud." he said, taking a deep breath to continue "I would not be able to live with the fact that Mohatu would've killed your mother, and that's when i did it myself." he finished his sentence.

Olanda's reaction was unexpected, by smacking her paw into Erevu's face, who roared in surprise "How could you?!" she roared through her watering face "Olanda, it was either or her-" Erevu was cut off "I would've rather died instead of her, at least i would've not met the murderer of my father! And i say more, i can't even believe that i just called you father all this time, you assassin..." she added.
Erevu dropped his head lowly "Don't call me that way..." he begged, he felt blamed indeed, and for years had to carryt hat weight on his own dorsum. "Everyday you prove even more, that you are just as cruel as your own father... How can you sleep every night, knowing what you just did? BESIDE UZURI?! How can you? What was missing in my mother, that Uzuri has in excess? Producing such a brat as Nguvu?" Olanda asked him, now starting to hate it all. "Don't include MY SON in it, he has nothing related to what happenned." Erevu growled "Your son? And what am i? Your little toy?" she questionned him once more, before turning her back towards him and walking off "I expected more of you. Today on, you can consideer me a dead lioness, or simply a member of your pride, the only way you can see me; if you even do." she announced, angrily trotting off from the cave, towards the same rocks he was early found at, "What happened?" Asali asked, while Murathi played with Ramira "GRRR! Get lost!" Olanda roared, picking Mohami up by his scruff and trotting away into Rafiki's tree, in hope to hear the opposite of what Erevu said, but she only heard the same story as his.

Suddenly, Nguvu pranced into the cave his father was at "Dad? Hurry! Mom have gotten you a gift!" he meowed happily "Go play outside, Nguvu..." Erevu replied, keeping his head low "But it is important..." the small prince said lowly, before his father raised one of his eyebrows "I might have gotten a little sister, heh..." he said, shifting his paws, Erevu gasped, running back to the priderock, only to find Uzuri holding a unusual-colored cub between her arms "I told you." Nguvu laughed, prancing next to his mother.
