Description
This was one of two experimental plushies where I used a foam-core rather than stuffing.
I carved the entire base shape out of upholstery foam (arms, legs, head, body, etc; all individually) and used hot glue to construct it. Then I laid scrap fabric over the foam to create the patterns, and used that to cut out the final pieces in Minky.

Unfortunately I learned through this process that it would have been about 10,000x easier to do this part-by-part, laying fabric over individual pieces like the body, head, arms, and THEN sewing it all together. But hey, I learned!

This guy is approx 6" tall and made entirely out of minky, with machine embroidered eyes & nostrils. His scars have a light outline in grey Copic marker.
