The expression of this image is about what I've experienced in the past decade or so with many fans of the Shantae series wearing Asha masks. I am VERY grateful for the amount of fans that initially came from that franchise and have genuinely shown interest in Asha, the game(s) she appears in and the franchise she's from. More often than not, I come across this however.

It's better to be direct and honest than to put on a facade or posing. I love both series dearly, but it's experiences like this that made me steadily fall out of love with the Shantae brand. But, I'm still hanging on tight and appreciate those who have shown them both support over the years whether I influenced its creation or not. It's people like you that have been pulling me back on board thanks to your shining aura and genuine fellowship.

If this is you in any way, shape or form and you feel called out, I'm genuinely sorry. This isn't to make anyone feel bad or to cause chaos, but rather to aid fans into being better and making the relationship between the communities more endearing. But hey, I understand that people can like what they like and play how they want to play, so we'll see what happens from here on out!

Note: I'm also looking forward to Shantae Advance, something that was said to come out in "early 2024", but we're still waiting lol. Hopefully, it's sometime this month!
