Description
Having an art rut of sorts going on where nothing I draw satisfies me so I figured I should just focus on finishing old art I was too intimidated to continue earlier.

Anyway I've been thinking about Knut a lot lately so it felt appropriate to draw him in a slightly oversized cloak to put emphasis on how small he actually is, I guess. Knut is a squire whose biggest (and only) dream in life is to become a knight - it just seems seems like he isn't really cut for the job. Not only is he small and weak in size compared to his peers, he also seems to let his own arrogance get the better of him, making him do reckless things to show off to others - and then get into trouble for it. Knut seems to be very skilled in literally everything else but being a knight, yet he still burns with a determination to become one. His only saving grace seems to be the job of a falconer: he handles the birds with love and care, and is relatively good at hawk hunting.

He's honestly a fun character to work on because he puts on such a haughty front in front of others and is always bragging about his skills when in actuality he's incredibly insecure about himself and terrified of the reality that he might not be able to become a knight despite his hard work.
