Description This is a little doodle I did at work (on break, of course!) for a friend and coworker. I used to do these all the time, and only just remembered today by chance. They kind of just made themselves. This was done with pastel pencils mostly on cheap green construction paper I found. This one looks like one I have done recently mostly because of how I cropped it. Anyway, it really amused me, and I hope it amuses you. I hope to do more of these soon. Hence, this is number 1.
(If you have already seen this it is because something got screwed up and I uploaded it again)

oooh. That's very clever. I have been having some strange ideas lately, now all I need is time enough to execute them. And no, I didn't even think of the connection at all. But I love it!!

Thanks been loving the word play ever since I got hooked on Peter Cook
Can't wait to see your strange ideas come to life on paper!

I don't know if you know it, but my career, my other one (the one that pays!!) is in eyes. They have been obsessing me for some time now. I mean actual eyes. And I accidentally make eye puns every day. No one shall ever match Peter Cook with wordplay, but I have become quite fond of Dylan Moran and Chris Morris for their contributions. I have also found a disturbing distaste among those I talk to for the art of "tweaking" language. Oh dear, but I should have included Stephen Fry! By way, if you haven't, see Fry's "Planet Word". It's incredible!
I don't feel that I am an elitist, and I do hope that the love of language, and language-based humor, finds it's way back to the top of pop culture and can be at least generally respected again. I railed against certain famous people when humour began to devolve into the sad drooling mess it has become. I partly blame Adam Sandler's agents for this. I should there take Peter's advice that you shared with me: Get out and take myself with it!
My ideas have burned themselves into my mind, and I am anxious to begin some serious work, when eyes let me have spare moments again. (bread and butter, I'm afraid). But as this is rare, I am very excited and happy. And I so much want to return to this idea, which I came up with while studying eye anatomy day and night, and then forgot completely once I took the exams. I thought of a title just this morning "walk naked", but I fear that it won't be as advertised if I tell people that, so I will most likely change it to something less promising. Oh, my, I apologize for this diary of an answer. Thank you, and I have not forgotten that I am going to draw dear Marc for you!!!

I didn't know about your thing for eyes, that's cool! Will checkout Fry's"Planet Word", saw him in Sherlock Holmes 2 was brilliant as always there was a particular scene that was unforgettable
Yuck,Adam Sandler movies! However, I do like the Hanukkah song and some skits he did on SNL.
About the"Walk Naked" title how about calling it "Naked Eyes"

Oh I found the perfect pic of Marc for you to draw he is wearing this cool "Eyes"t-shirt![link] or better yet you could design an "eyes"t-shirt of your own on Marc
Checkout Marc's oufit in this clip and I'm pretty sure you'll like the song too![link] Enjoy!

hahaha. I saw your Marc pictures. I can, if you want.
I do eye things most of the time, yes. Planet Word is fantastic. I didn't mean to pick on Adam, but he once reminded me of the Lucille Ball school of hatred and transformation of comedy into ridicule. I don't like that sort of thing. Ridicule is more served against the people of priveledge and education. But against the weak, disadvantaged, and poor, it is an attack on class, and the weak in general. I find that very unfunny. I find that guy untalented at best. And yada yada...
Sorry. As for the title, It is something not related to eyes at all, so I need to find something good for it, and I have so many ideas. Not done with eyes either, or aquatic eyes. Just so many thoughts for one brain, and about two hours in a day to do them! The quick stuff gets uploaded first, but the other stuff still bubbles. Naked eyes may yet happen! And Marc shall! I can do that if you want, Yes and truly. But I have a proviso. Not a difficult one, but hopefully a stretch.

Try to get some of these pencils for yourself. I can see some of your work with them brilliantly. And I think the result will make you smile very wide.

Thanks, Dax. To answer your question, it was done extremely fast, first with a normal pencil, and then coloured a bit with pastel pencils. Kind of in between regular colour pencils and oil pastels. I really love using them. I very much recommend them. Mine are Derwent Coloursoft I believe.
