Not sure what to say about this other than I started doing a portrait and decided to take it in a more surreal direction. An experiment of a kind, I guess. Silenus is a beautiful song by Little Sparta and featuring this vocalist. The bangs gave the hair an interesting dynamic to play with. I added a frilly doodle on the left that made it a little stranger and more balanced, then I painted it out. I may post that one, too, if it is of interest.Related content

I must say you are a powerful artist,
If you are not sure what you are doing, then You are finding yourself, as I am trying to also.
I can see a lot of passion and feelings you put into each stroke and line.
It is inspiring to me seeing a master work and try to learn from their powerful mind.
and to look beyond the lines, & find the meanings, passion and feelings that the master put into his art by just looking at the artwork

I suffer a lot with the same problem. I feel what I do is not enough to complete my satisfaction.
The problem is that frustration is taking over the creativity and letting go of my mind to be free

After i am done with a drawing I usually feel depressed like I don't know what else

ah, Mona. Look back at what you did and be proud. That is all you can do. And you should be very proud. Who knows what comes next? Don't torture yourself, life will do that anyway. You are incredibly gifted, and I know that you have so much more in you. Don't let that be a burden. It is a joy, when it comes. You must create, and you will! You must. You know that. Whether I fawn on about you or not, you will do it. Even if no one sees, you will. That is what I like about you almost more than what you are capable of. You are an artist. You will be. No matter what. Just let it come. It will. You are amazing and so very gifted. I know that amazing things are to come.

Also, if you don't know why you like it, that is so much better for me. It is the highest compliment. This one in particular. I can't say why I chose to do it this way. Great feedback for me.
