Got the Japanese version of Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver and playing both games for the past few weeks. It's addicting, I tell you!! I love it to bits. And omg, the pokemon follow you like in Pokemon Pikachu Yellow! So adorable.

Anyway, I had this idea floating around for a while now...It just hit me one day and bam! I'm crossing-over A:TLA and Pokemon. Has hell finally frozen over?

As much as I love the Pokemon games, I hate the anime. It is so...meh.

Avatar still rocks my world tho, games and show. Hehe.

But seriously, it's kind of cool too, don't you think? I mean, they have respective elements...and what better way to love your element than to raise Pokemon of the same type of element? YAY. So Katara gets the cool water/ice, Toph gets ground/fighting, Zuko gets Fire, Aang gets flying and psychic and what does Sokka get? HE GETS NORMAL POKEMON LIKE JIGGLYPUFF AND CLEFAIRY! OH SO COOL.

Oh and AvaMon = Avatar + Pokemon. OTL, I know, it's a fail title...>_<;

Anyway, I kind of went overboard on Katara's outfit, but I was trying to go for the "Cool Ace trainer" look. Obviously I failed. But still, I loved how this piece turned out either way.

Katara gets the beautiful Dewgong, the elegant Dragonair (I know, Dragon type, BUT SO PRETTTY) and Glaceon.

Who should I work on next? Who do you want to see next in line as a Pokemon trainer?

Oh yeah, I obviously used reference to draw the Pokemon, because I fail at drawing animal like creatures and all that...>_<;
