Meet Satomi! My new oc for My Hero Academia!

Quirk: Fox

Satomi's quirk gives her the abilities and characteristics of a fox, her fox color being Platinum. Some specifics traits include:

-Enhanced senses: Satomi's senses of sight, smell, and hearing are greatly enhanced, making her extra aware of her surroundings and making it difficult for someone to sneak up on her. These enhanced senses are also useful for tracking.
-Magnetic Targeting: Satomi is able to sense Earth’s magnetic field to triangulate on the location and distance of her opponents even when hidden.
-Night Vision
-Agility and dexterity boost
-Fangs
-Can withstand low temperatures

Quirk setbacks: The fox quirk makes it's user naturally nocturnal thus struggling to find a sleeping pattern that matches up with society. Satomi is also weak against loud and high pitched noises and is red/green colorblind.

Additonal abilties/support items:

Martial Arts: Satomi is proficient in martial arts as taught by her father growing up
Escrima sticks: Satomi's weapon of choice, giving her more reach while in combat. Her sticks are designed to retract for storage and have a few features customized by her brother. Each stick contains flares that fan be shot up to reveal her location if need be in emergencies and have lights on the end to provide light. Satomi uses the lights as a distraction tactic when fighting in dark conditions, lighting one up to distract her opponent while going in for the blow with the other. She alternates between which is lit as to no be predictable.
Smoke bombs: Small pallets she carries in one of her pouches, providing cover for escape or to hinder her opponent. With her excelled senses and magnetic field abilities she can maneuver through the smoke more effectively than her opponents and get the upper hand.
Throwing knives: Able to be thrown to provide Satomi with a ranged attack to make up for her close combat style
Swiss Army Knife: Cause you never know when you're gonna need one
Padded arm bands: Defensive support for blocking attacks with minimal damage
Noise canceling shoes: Satomi's shoes are very light weight and absorb sound, enabling her to sneak around more effectively.
Energy Shots: Due to her nocturnal nature, Satomi carries around a few energy shots to keep her awake during day time activities.
Snacks: Satomi carries a tiny snack as she's not into eating full meals but will randomly snack throughout the day.

Background:

Satomi grew up in a loving family. Her mother has a fox quirk and her father is Quirkless. Growing up being quirkless, her father knew the importance of being able to protect one's self in a world of powerful people and learned the ways of martial arts and when he grew up her opened his own studio, providing self defense classes to primarily quirkless individuals who needed the extra support in this world. He passed on a lot of his protective natures into Satomi and her siblings.

Satomi projected this protective nature growing up being friends with Izuku and Bakugo. The three of them when they were kids were best friends and did everything together, but once Baukugo developed his quirk Satomi began seeing some unfavorable changes to his attitude. Unlike Izuku who still wanted to follow Bakugo around and kept his optomistic nature, Satomi drew more distant from him as she saw him bullying Izuku more and more often for being quirkless. With her father being quirkless she didn't see it as something to be ashamed of, that anyone can be powerful with or without a quirk, but her once best friend shaming their friend for such thing was beiginning to hit a chord with Satomi. as time went on she went from calling him "Kacchan" to "Katsuki" to "Bakugo" to "Asshole" by the time they were in middle school. It then came to a point that Bakugo confronted her about their distancing friendship and made her chose between him and Izuku, so she chose Izuku and closed the door on their friendship.

With Izuku being constantly bullied, Satomi took it upon herself to be his protector and always stood up for him. With most of her attention focused on making sure he was ok she didn't have much time for other friendships but honestly didn't want to befriend anyone else in their classes due to their collective harassment and mistreatment of Izuku. She had offered him many times to join her in learning martial arts from her father but he politely declined. She still always encouraged him in her own quiet way and was always their to listen to him talk about heroes and his dream to become one, her firmly believing that if anyone can make it that it was going to be him, with him and her father inspiring her to do the same to keep protecting people like Izuku.
When it came time to test for high schools, satomi had set out for Ua along with Izuku. She wouldn't admit it but if he hadn't gotten in she would have followed him into whatever program he got into to make sure he still had someone by his side. She was set in the same testing group as Bakugo so she didn't get to see Izuku use his newly found quirk. She was able to pass her test by shutting down the robots via sneaking behind them to switch them off rather than using blunt force.

When she found out about his quirk afterwards Izuku was worried how she'd react to him getting a quirk out of seemingly nowhere but she surprised him with taking his word as truth of being a late bloomer. She theorized that it developed when he tried to save Bakugo about a year earlier, maybe the experience triggering it somehow. And with seeing how his quirk damaged his body she didn't question his not using it cause why would he if it hurt him so much. She was a little upset he didn't tell her sooner but respected his right to privacy and knew he wouldn't have done so without reason.

She now currently attends UA High School in Class 1A along with Izuku and Bakugo, much to Bakugo's annoyance.

Family: Satomi grew up with her parents and 4 other siblings, she being the second youngest of the bunch. All children have their mom's fox qurik to a degree, their furs varying on different fox typs and some exhibiting more fox like features than others.
MotherName TBD) Her mother is where she gets her fox quirk from. She is a tailor that specializes in fitting clothing to those who's quirks get in the way of wearing normal clothes comfortably. She passed this skill to Satomi

He now produces support items for various agencies and likes to test new ones on his siblings to see how chaotic proof they can be. His fox color

Satomi's oldest sister is a hopeless romantic, having a new man to crush on every other weak. She is very sweet and caring and is currently studying linguistics on college. wanting to study abroad soon in France aka the city of love
Older Sister: Toshiko | Fox Type: Red | Age: 16
Only being one year older than Satomi herself, her and Toshiko are very close. She is very opposite from Satomi, being the loud and reckless middle child but with a heart of gold. Toshiko belongs to SleepWriter620 and you can check her out here!

Katsuo is the baby of the pack, he is quite shy but shares many traits as Satomi is being very blunt and stoic. He like any other children have a love for All Might and has many collectable items of his favorite hero. He wishes to hero one day too but is very insecure with his small stature and that his quirk mutated more than his siblings, having two tails instead of one.

-Brings coffee into class everyday, got in trouble for bringing outside drink into class but once she started bringing Aizawa a cup in the mornings he quickly allowed it
-Due to her nocturnal sleep pattern once she gets home from school she takes a nap until 8 or 9pm, and then is awake until about 4 before taking a quick 2 hour nap before having to be up to go to school. She is still very much exhausted the rest of the day but manages to make it work
-Can play the Ukulele and has a pretty nice singing voice but won't let anyone hear it
-Bakugo's nickname for her is "Fox Face"
-Her favorite video game is Sly Cooper and she took a lot of inspiration on how to sneak around from playing it
