I've been seeing a lot of ship pictures lately and I was feeling the love but what ship did I end up doing? FRIENDSHIP!

I really need to show it more but Dimitri and Dick have always been best friends, she even knew his secret ID along with the OG proteges and they go way back and always had a big respect for each other. She was one of the only people that was able to keep up with him when he pulled his disappearing acts and when Wally died he was the first one she went to for comfort.

However not too long after Wally's death Dick sorta leaves to deal with it by himself in his own way and it really hurts Dimitri that when she needed him most he wasn't there and holds that grudge for 2 years until she's brought back into the game in season 3. Once Dimitri returns for good and starts to rebuild her life they meet up and have a real heart to heart, Dick apologizing that he wasn't there for her but with her acknowledging that she eventually understood since she went and did the same thing except a year delayed. He tells her that Wally would have wanted him there to look after her when he couldn't and promises he'd watch out for her from now on, her promising to do the same and forgiving him.
