HE'S SO EASY. Like, not necessarily that you can skimp when you're working on him, but his design just makes him such a great starting point.

Alright, tangent time. So, Neil Gaiman can draw at least a little bit, and he's done a few sketches of Dream. Whenever Gaiman draws Sandman, he looks like the rocker-ish baddie that he was in the first few issues. HOWEVER, whenever anyone else draws Dream, he looks a helluva lot like....Neil Gaiman XD I wonder what it's like to be so closely associated with a character you created

i believe that we all kinda put a little bit of us in everything we create, like my classmates always tell me that the females i draw usually look like me and i'd like to believe that Neil Gaiman is our own Dream anyway, just less gloomy and better at relationships haha

XD Absolutely. I mean....I'd hope, at least. I suppose we don't actually *know* if Gaiman has condemned any of his lovers to Hell for 10,000 years, but....let's give him the benefit of the doubt. He seems like a nice guy
