So, I've seen a bunch of Pokemon Theories on some forums, and I thought I'd voice my opinion.Kay, so everyone is saying that Unova is based off of New York, Which is kind of believable, but really isn't when you look at the land layout. To me, it resembles the Shanghai area in China. The circle in the middle, the secluded town (Anville) in the upper left, and the bridges.
In BW/BW2 a guy says (shows in the picture) "These cars no longer run in the Battle Subway, but I hear they're still being used in a far away region." So the Kalos region is based upon France right?, and there's a train stop-type looking thing in the middle on the far right side of the map, am I correct? So in order to use that, it would have to connect to the other end, being Unova.
In my opinion, I think they have created 5 outgoing tracks, stating only 5 more regions left to create. Us Pokemon fans have always wondered when this series would end. Maybe they are hinting to us that they are going to finish the series after the regions in-between Kalos and Unova are created.

Looking at the image above, the train would make sense going west (or North if you look at the Unova region the way it's rotated) I know I have stated kind of a bunch of theories above, but it would all make sense if you put Unova where Shanghai is.
I hope you will examine these things as well. Please leave any other theories in the comments.
I didn't know what category to put it under, So I just put it under Photomanipulation because I did edit the pictures to fit how I explained.

The theory does seem to make sense, but for that you'd have to rotate Shanghai by 90 degrees.....and the lake mentioned for Shanghai is actually part of neighboring Jiangsu Province already.
But its still very creative....I'd never think of Shanghai when I saw Unova~
