So I see you would need elastic for the leg wholes and the neckline, but would you need it for the armholes and skirt? Sorry if these are dumb questions..

They are not dumb questions!  You do not need elastic for the arm holes or the skirt  Only the leg holes and neckline.

Oh ok thank you!!! Yeah, I'm working with spandex fabric and I put the collar on and I couldn't step into it and it was too tight.... Sadly it's expensive at Joann's and I saw that it was cheaper on another website after I bought the spandex from Joann's and I was like " whyyyy" lol.

JoAnn's can be pricey sometimes - especially their spandex, its like $20 per yard!!! I usually order mine from Spandexworld!

Yeaah... of course I head down to Joann's when they are having a good sale! I'm the coupon queen. lol
The fabric I bought is a little "see through" so I may have to double it up.. and it's thin and I'm paranoid that it would tear or something.

I wore nude shape-wear underneath my leotard.  It's like a leotard with a bra attached and it has snaps at the crotch.  It helped loads with the white fabric being a bit sheer, so you might want to look into that!

I was actually planning on wearing a tank top underneath. I think I'm just paranoid that the fabric is too thin and that it will rip.. but I was told that fabric is very strong. :3

Also, I hope you don't mine me asking another question, but when you are sewing on the collar, do you sew on the elastic in the leotard?

The collar is a separate piece entirely and is only attached to the leotard via a snap.  The elastic should only be in the leg holes and neck opening of the leotard

Oh, like a snap fastener? Also, would you put the snap at the v part of the leotard?

Yep!  I have one half of the snap on the V of the leotard and the other half where the thin part/where the bow goes on the collar and I just snap it in place!

Oh ok, thank you so much! I tried sewing it on before and it got so tight and I couldn't get in it..... :/ Also, you don't need snaps for the skirt? You can just sew it on?

Thank yo so much for your help! I really appreciate it, sorry if I bugged you lol.

I can't remember off hand, but I think I added snaps for the skirt - I did not sew mine in because I was planning on making another senshi that year and wanted it interchangeable but that didn't happen, lol!! But you can do it either way!

Do you have a tutorial for Sailor Saturn's sleeves?

No, but which version of Saturn?  I could probably talk you through it or give you some ideas

Ok thanks.. it's the sleeves that look like feathers/flowers. That's her first form of Sailor Saturn.

I apologize for the really long delay!  I had been extremely busy getting ready to move and I have some free time now to write to you.  So the form you are looking at is called Sailor Saturn, the rest are Super Sailor Saturn, Eternal Sailor Saturn, Princess Saturn...etc.

You will first have to draw out the shape of your pattern on paper.  There are three "feathers" of her sleeve, for the top one, begin drawing it at the edge of the paper so that you place it on the fold of your fabric - you will have to cut out four pieces total of the same fabric as your leotard and cut out two of interfacing for stiffness so that it retains it's shape.  Add comfortable seam allowance to what you are drawing (I generally use 1cm), sew the pieces together, turn them inside out, and then attach the sleeves!

Make a few trial ones first out of cheap fabric (muslin) until you get them just perfect.

I really hope this helps and again, I apologize for the delay!
