My guild's website is in sore need of an update, and as web monkey it's my job to provide it, and recently I finally got inspired for a new, updated design and went on a reference-finding mission. Then I got a little crazy at Home Depot looking at finials (the little decorative bits that get put on the ends of curtain rods or whatever). They vary a bit in quality and I can't use them all (and I don't even know which I want to use, if any!), but you might!

Each piece is relatively modular, and can be adjusted in various ways to get the look you want. You'll probably need to have at least a modicum of Photoshop experience to get the most out of it, but isn't that always how it is? :3 I think it looks best on medium-to-dark backgrounds, but your mileage may vary.

You may use the enclosed Photoshop file for non-commercial uses. I would LOVE a link to see what you've done with it, though!
