Out of all the Hololive EN girls, I think Kiara experienced one of the rougher starts to her Vtuber career. I remember her struggling a lot with technical difficulties and insecurities and getting emotional on several streams as a result.

As someone who looks up to Kiara, I thought a lot about how sad I’d be if she stopped creating because of her insecurities.

I realised how hypocritical I was, worrying about somebody else giving up whilst allowing myself to teeter to the edge of giving up every other day.

I figured that I should be the change I wanted to see, (so to speak); In that, if I expected Kiara to overcome her personal obstacles and keep producing content, I needed to do the same.

Obviously my situation and scale are vastly different to Kiara, but as a creator that someone (even just one person) might look up to, I think the principle still applies.

I think overall, Kiara’s courage in the face of adversity really inspired me and helped me find a much needed ray of direction after a year of emotional ups and downs.
