This is killer in design, composition and execution. I would have used a cabachon instead of a faceted jewel on the skull, and the scales were an opportunity for texture -but, I think it's stunning.

i would suggest maybe darkening the darker parts of the smoke to pop out the Foo dog more and separate the snake from it. The blue and greys of this piece really make this!
