It has been years since the attack that changed Evelynn Runeflame's life forever. Till this day, she still has not found out who was behind the act to steal her life's work that now flows through her veins. But then came a local mission looking into to a megacorp's schemes into exchanging materials with Solterra's enemies. Then came a familiar face: Maggie Kesena, an old rival back from the N.A.N.G.N.I. days now more curious in what is her involvement in this. Maggie doesn't know that Evelynn has "changed" but she disguises the reason as being going into extreme bodybuilding. Eventually Evelynn does discover in her lab that she is using her old Z-9 nanites but with a new algorithm, the same Evelynn uses in her hypernites. Eventually, she gets caught by Maggie and her "creations" and knows from the start she is with Interrealm.

Maggie is working with the megacorp to sell specialized goods with other worlds despite being long enemies with the alliance. But they don't care as long as they make a great profit out of it and enough to continue evolving her research. Research Evelynn concludes made with her stolen algorithm. Maggie then tells Evelynn if the results of her transformation made her into what she is now, she would have got it sooner. This leaves Evelynn shocked and the reveal of Maggies involvement, or should we say, is the one who sent that lithe thief after her work. Maggie is sick of being the constant failure of her work since that humiliating test run many years ago that she won and will not take it anymore.

Evelynn has had enough of this and orders Maggie to give herself up. Showing an incredible amount of restraint to not just kill her for destroying her life because of her petty jealousy. Maggie, doing what every villain does when caught and pulls out her own nanites and inject it into herself daring the dragoness to make her give herself up as her body grows stronger to even surpass Evelynn's own might. This led to a one-on-one battle between the giant hulking human and the nano-powered dragoness. But she knows something is wrong, the algorithm Maggie's Z-9 is the same old one that made Evelynn's body grow out of control.

It was just a matter of time before the nanites in Maggie's body began to do the same and her muscles began to swell out of control and burning up fast. Battered and exhausted, Evelynn nearly leaves Maggie to her soon to be explosive fate. But knowing that in her soul, she is not the monster Maggie created and rushes in to save her. Placing her hands on her shoulders, Evelynn uses her technomancy to directly exchange the old code with the new and falls back as her own body began to bulk up randomly tearing out of her uniform as she fights off the old code in her body. Nearly reliving the traumatic event that almost killed her as her body begins to heat and swell but Evelynn is stronger and fights back, overcoming her growth and returns to normal.

She then comes back to Maggie and orders the nanites in her body to revert her mass back to normal. The rapid shrinkage knocks Maggie out and collapses naked on the ground. Evelynn picks her up and takes her away, ending their battle. Maggie gets put away while the megacorp is busted later for their trading with enemy activities. Evelynn back at home looking at her body and the damage it has gained as a result of her fighting the old code she once worked with. Just then, for a brief moment, she saw her former self smiling back. It was a sign, that underneath all that power, there's still a scientist still in her.
