i need help coloring her T 3 T (commissioned by UncommonlyNormal )i am having difficulty putting her colors together ; - ; UncommonlyNormal requested her colors be halloween themed, mostly oranges, reddish, black. Her hair must be some shade of orange/red as well
i dunno why im having such a hard time T 3 T i made her outfit grey and black with the skull and bones part white, but i dunno, every combo i made looked no bueno T n T
so i guess, where would you place the oranges and blacks in this outfit? should the ribs and skulls be white? or red? orange arm warmers? i have no clue T o T'''

I'd go for piratey red/orange vert stripes on the corset, and flat black/brown on the pants.

I'd put the oranges on the buttons on her boots, maybe do striped red and orange or red and black arm warmers.
Then like Ginsuke said, stick to greys/blacks for the base color.
Heck it might be good to do orange on the stripes on the outfit, the buttons on the shoes, and on the arm warmers.
Then do red on the skulls.

Well, I think the red hair with the orange and the red on the necklace is a little overwhelming, perhaps going black, white, or grey (or maybe an ice blue color) with the hair will provide a nice bit of relief from the brightness of the orange and red. I do really like this version a lotΒ sta.sh/0l5jd5va5yo but again the bright with bright is a bit much.
Not having much red isn't a big deal, I like the red skulls and adding it onto the rib designs wouldn't be a bad idea.Β
If you want to make it a bit more balanced, swap the orange and the black in the striping on her outfit, make it black with orange stripes, it'll make it have more impact.

maybe do mostly blacks/greys and have accenting colors red and orange for like patterns and smaller details ?

I would make all accents like buttons lines seams etc orange and accessories that are a little bit bigger like the arm warmers a blackΒ

i actually tried that one, it wasnt too bad, but i didnt know what colors to make the corsette/pants..it think ill test this one out again tho

Hmmm.... try it again and if you splash in maybe a white for the pants you'd have freedom of making the corset whatever color without clashing and differentiating between the pants and corset would be easy. =^-^=Β
