His name is TAKUMI COTORI and he is a form of 'water spirit' that thrives in a river that is connected to the ocean. He is one that stands for a healthy water system and helps keep the ocean river(s) clean. His connection to this river was based on a legend of how the river was made. This river, which remains pure to the eye over sweeps, was said to have been formed by the death of an ancient water snake spirit. Where its body laid to rest formed the clear-watered river that made life on the land easier to live. The distance of it is long and width being wide, showing how large of spirit it was said to be. Takumi is supposedly a smaller water spirit, one to help maintain the river and keep it from being polluted. He has a disliking to those who liter the waters without a care, but forgiveful to those who did so by accident. He is kind hearted to the marine life, helping those who are ill, hurt or endangered, specially if it was by landdweller causes. He dislikes polluted waters and will do what he can to help clear it, even though it can put his own well being in harm's way. To some who live near this river, he is praised as the River Guardian and is sometimes given offerings from the village locals. These offerings ranging from flowers, rice, plant leaves and other natural materials made by nature. Though considered a 'River spirit', he can be curious of landdweller antics and wouldn't be afraid to interact with them. But he is weary as he is labeled as a 'spirit' and the intentions of those on land are unknown.

He also dislikes stray nets and fishing lines that get left behind and forgotten. Those things can HURT.
Sorry if this doesn't sound completely canon but he is new and detailed info is kinda hard to do specially when you're not up for the typing. The rest of him will just be played out in rp if anyone is interested enough. ;w;

I really enjoyed making this guy---I have come to find that drawing merfolk are fun to make. Could be another possible fantroll adoptable thing if people want those too.
