A late Cretaceous , South American killer . The Ceratopigouni (meaning ´Horn chin´) was the top predator of his time , when fossils were first discovered scientists thought that the horn was some kind of tusk . In reality the horn was on the chin and it was used for stabbing into a helpless prey . Ceratopigouni had also long , sharp claws for holding its victim and a club with spikes on his tail for defense against other theropods . Like with T.rex were the females bigger and more aggressive than the males .
