Another experiment for the CAM.

Have you ever just drawn something out of boredom, on notebook paper or the back of your homework, and it ends up turning out, well, really good? The original pencil sketch I did while studying for Physiology finals, and I really liked the end result (and didn't feel like tracing it over again for the real thing).

This is meant to be a handy comparison between a horse and a Kelpie or Each-Usige (eek - wisky), Irish water horses that would drown anyone who attempted to ride them.

#2 pencil, scanned, then colored in Inkscape.

Came out a bit too orange when I converted it to a jpg.

Artwork and water horses of this type are (c) by me

In mythos the kelpie is supposed to have backwards hooves.

Nice. It helps me imagine the water horses a lot more.

Wow... I would draw a kelpie as a wet horse. May we use this reference for designing kelpies?

this is really cool. I do stuff like this all the time. I really like how the images focus on the obvious differences, instead of just drawing the entire animal and make people look for themselves. you're an amazing artist. <3 good job!
