Description Lighting practice!  Grabbed a doodle out of my sketchbook and worked on this in little bits over a few days.  Working on getting better with reflected light.

ALSO - Got my portfolio result for my first choice course last night and I aced it!  I'm in a really good place right now.

Now to finish that last commission!

I really like the colors in this. Gives off a kind of relaxed and restful tone.

I think warm sunlight and cold shadows have a tendency to do that.  I'm really fond of it too!

Would seem to be! The design of the character itself lends to it too. Very subtle, doesn't try to be anything fancy, like it's just a girl, adds onto the overall feel I think of the piece.
