Description Color phase.

:EDIT: Redid Drawcia to be a bit more pastel-ish as she appeared in-game.

I didn't really get the idea behind the Soul bosses in the Kirby series until Marx in Super Star Ultra (I first saw 02 when I hadn't yet played Dream Land 3 and was too young to understand the context behind him, and Drawcia Soul was more of a regular final boss than an optional challenge)

For that matter, to this day, Marx Soul ties with Galacta Knight on my list of "Cause of biggest losing streak in The True Arena"; by Return to Dream Land, I'd learned to cheese most of the battles with Leaf, and Triple Deluxe, even more so with Archer...

Noice. Really cool how they have their own battlefields as their background

Now with Kirby Planet Robobot, there's another one in the group, "Star Dream Soul OS."

I had considered amending Star Dream into this piece, but I still feel like the game's too new to start freely talking endgame content for Planet Robobot just yet.

When i looked at the title, i saw dark souls, then it hit me, kirby is battling things that would make sense in the souls games, bloodbourne included, so in fact the true arena is my first souls game, with the required nightmarish bosses

I always hated Soul forms, and this one Fanfiction I read, really explained Soul forms in a very.... creepy way....

Archer, huh? Ā I haven't played 3D in a while, but I just liked the bug battle and pure damage Beetle did. Ā I think we discussed this earlier, but I guess I'm trying Archer!

Very nice.

One of those Dark Souls "borrows" a lot of attacks from others.

And another one of them is rumored to actually be a severely weakened 02 possessing him, essentially being the third incarnation of 0.

Also, you forgot to draw Drawcia Soul in that abstract-y surreal art style she's supposed to be in.

Did I? I'm fairly certain I drew Drawcia Soul based off its official art...

Watch what she looks like at 5:32 in this video. Note the distinctively different art style, done for a reason. -->Ā Ā  www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rwa-5sā€¦

Well, dang, the official art I found looked nothing like that...

I see you changed it to look more like how she's supposed to. Nice job Xero!

What about Yin Yarn?

Mecha Yin-Yarn had nowhere near the amount of killing power the Soul bosses did (in fact, since it was Epic Yarn, he couldn't kill you at all!), and honestly, I couldn't make him look intimidating anyway...

guard button is your friend and stone kirby an't a bad help either to help you out study their movements in super star ultra

Y'know, it's funny, I keep forgetting there's a guard button whenever I play a Kirby game...

Not that it matters; I 100%'d Super Star Ultra, Return, and Triple Deluxe long ago...

sweet!

for Ultra, I developed a habit for it

for return, it being on the A button, I often forget to use it unless its part of a boss battle

as for triple deluxe, its a mix of both, I sometimes remember or forget to use it

I don't have that many Kirby games (being Kirby and the Amazing Mirror and Kirby Air Ride) but I have seen the soul bosses from the other games.

Oh, thank goodness; someone else who's played Air Ride! I thought I was completely alone on that!

Well I certainly enjoyed Kirby Air Ride (City Trial is the best mode, I completed the checklist) and I still play it!
And Kirby and the Amazing Mirror was the first Kirby game I ever played and it still is my favorite.
