As of November 6, 2022, we are now officially at the point where the canonical story of Sword Art Online began, with its players logging into (and getting trapped inside) the world of Aincrad for the first time.

In particular though, this is a good time for me to reflect on what would eventually become my two favorite characters in this series, Kirito and Asuna, along with all the myriad artwork I've drawn of them since I first started getting into the series all that time ago!
