This here's my personal Inktober challenge for 2018: A gallery of Nintendo Switch all-stars!Every day in October, this piece will be updated with characters that have made (or will make) starring appearances on the Switch!

Day 1: The very first is my own personal Switch-tan concept, representing the console itself!
Day 2: Next up is one of the first (and one of the best) games to grace the Switch: Breath of the Wild, represented by Link!
Day 3: The other launch title of major significance is the long-awaited return of Bomberman with the then-exclusive Super Bomberman R!
Day 4: Introducing one of the Switch's newest original (and one of my personal favorite) IPs, ARMS, represented by Spring Man!
Day 5: The title we'd been waiting for since the Switch's very first trailer, the super-fresh sequel Splatoon 2, with a new mascot Inkling leading the charge!
Day 6: Now for one of the more obscure, but no less significant entries in the Switch's early lineup, the two paper things Snip and Clip representing Snipperclips: Cut It Out Together!
Day 7: One full week into the Inktober challenge, and we introduce Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, a combination that somehow worked better than anyone could have expected, and representing that are the mainstay characters through both the base game and the DK Adventure DLC, Beep-0 and Rabbid Peach!
Day 8: Quite a special day for this one, as October the Eighth warrants a two-fer (er, rather, nine-fer technically...), with both the star of Splatoon 2's Octo Expansion DLC, Agent 8, as well as the playable cast of Octopath Traveler, with the cleric Ophilia in the lead!
Day 9: The first major Pokemon title to hit the Switch, Pokken Tournament DX, brought the cast of the main game and the arcade together in one package, as well as its own exclusive fighter, Decidueye!
Day 10: On behalf of his own series and those of his indie comrades (A, because trying to fit them all in would take until Inktober NEXT year, and B, because he's currently the only one of them to get an amiibo and/or an appearance in Smash), the one and only Shovel Knight!
Day 11: Much like Pokken Tournament, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze gained a new set of upgrades on its journey to the Switch, not least of all was the addition of its New Funky Mode!
Day 12: Representing Kirby's newest adventure on the Switch, Kirby Star Allies, is the pink puff himself, Kirby joined by his faithful friend, Bandanna Waddle Dee!
Day 13: Now for the dual Switch/3DS title that'll make you wish you didn't look at this sketch when you were hungry: Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido, represented by the hero Musashi!
Day 14: Decided to chill out today before we reach the halfway point of the challenge, by finishing the bottom half of the page with a tribute to Nintendo's DIY cardboard construct platform, the Labo, represented by its RC Car!
Day 15: We've reached the midway point of the Inktober challenge, and now we get to the good stuff, starting with one of the most major RPGs of the Switch's year 1, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, represented by Rex and Pyra!
Day 16: Today marks the launch of the figure-driven space adventure Starlink: Battle for Atlas, and in keeping with Ubisoft's ongoing camaraderie with Nintendo, the Switch version gets an exclusive advantage by bringing along Team Star Fox and the one-and-only (so to speak) Arwing!
Day 17: Representing Mario Tennis Aces is the surly veteran of the courts himself, Waluigi!
Day 18: Jumping ahead in the Switch's release schedule, as this entry is dedicated to next year's release of Luigi's Mansion 3!
Day 19: We continue looking ahead in 2019's calendar with the addition of Yoshi's Crafted World, starring, well, Yoshi!
Day 20: To celebrate the anniversary of the release of Fire Emblem Warriors, the challenge is joined by the twins of Aytolis, Rowan and Lianna!
Day 21: We're in the last ten days of the Inktober Switch challenge, and just because I've had her in mind and I need an excuse, I'm bringing in Rosalina on her Jet Bike on behalf of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe!
Day 22: Not much longer until Pokemon Let's Go releases in November, so I'm including none other than Let's Go's Pokemon Trainer alongside Pikachu and Eevee!
Day 23: Joining the Fire Emblem representatives on behalf of the future title Fire Emblem: The Three Houses is the trailer's most notable character, Edgelord Edelgard!
Day 24: It's safe to say, that with both her games finding home on the Switch, and a third one on the way, today's entry has to be dedicated to Bayonetta! (That this one also falls on the anniversary of Bayonetta 2's release on the Wii U is a convenient bonus!)
Day 25: An unlikely hero in an unlikely place, one more entry on the bottom half of the sketch is joined by the not-quite-intrepid adventurer, Captain Toad!
Day 26: Oh boy...I couldn't let a Switch compilation go by without including the progenitor of 2018's biggest internet sensations; on behalf of New Super Mario Bros Deluxe, I introduce Peachette!
Day 27: You knew this was coming, folks! Day 27 is the one year anniversary of Super Mario Odyssey, and for this, we bring in Mario, Cappy, Peach, Tiara, AND Bowser!
Day 28: As of this post, the most recent Nintendo Direct brought the announcement of a new Animal Crossing in 2019, and for that, we have Isabelle and Tom Nook!
Day 29: So close to the end, and a perfect chance to include Nintendo's next step into customizable robot combat: Daemon X Machina, represented by the Arsenal!
Day 30: The penultimate entry of my Inktober challenge, and it's to commemorate the upcoming Metroid Prime 4: Samus! But what's she aiming at...?
Day 31: Of course! Representing the December-bound Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a newcomer, Ridley makes his appearance at last!
BONUS: Okay, officially I'd say I'm done with Inktober, but I can't let this slide: ALSO representing Smash Ultimate is...Piranha Plant, proving now and forever that Sakurai laughs in the face of every single Uncle-at-Nintendo leak there ever was!
And with that, October, and with it, my Inktober Challenge, draws to a close! So, what'd you all think of seeing it grow day by day?
