Description Well, it is a slight upgrade from that garbage I did before. I still need work though. Her eyes are supposed to be more like the original's iris-less eyes. Again, too lazy to draw a background. Thanks, redjuice. Your book is helping me get a bit better.

This is nice, and a lovely job of soft-shading. If I may offer my own personal opinion, she feels a bit lanky. But after looking at the 6.5-head proportions, I don't think its a matter of making her limbs shorter, so much as some tweaks to her upper trunk anatomy. I think if you widened the shoulders just a tad and increased the bust by a bit, her proportions would look a little more standard-- assuming that's what you're going for.

Alternatively, if you're trying for a more slender-busted version of her, you might consider reshaping the breasts themselves to have a less-defined curve. I guess the best way I can put it is, currently the definition of the breasts doesn't match the actual surface area they take up on the body. Or to put it more simply, it looks kinda like she has a B-cup bust of a character who is only 3/4 of her 'height' on paper, rather than a B-cup that matches her actual height.

Hopefully that makes sense, and comes across as genuinely constructive. Of course, you're the artist here: In all things, go with your own best judgment.

Hey, thanks a lot for the critique. I have noticed that my characters tend to be on the lanky side. (Actually, looking back on all of my female drawings they are too skinny.) I think it's a combination of my drawing style and my attraction to skinny girls. I'm still learning anatomical proportions, so this criticism is very helpful.

That being said, I think the lankiness is more acceptable here because it is supposed to be a stylized rendering of Starfire's Cartoon Network version, which is very lanky. Your advise on the shoulders and bust is very constructive. I think, perhaps, the forearms may also be a bit long. Also just notices the blank area between her left hand and leg is kind of awkward. I'll make some corrections later.

Thanks for the advise.
