Description This semester I'm in Raku Ceramics.. Our Prof. wanted us to make 10 tea bowls of varying designs, some even could be made to look like animals, etc, etc... Well, me being my sculptur-y self decided to go to town on one or two, this one was my favorite.

When it was finished and drying for the Bisque, my dear Captn' asked, 'Is that Haku?' Heh.. Kinda' looks like him, but not quite. Maybe a distant earthen cousin that gaurds the Japanese Tea Ceremony?..

Yeah, apparently the Japanese call the westernized version of Raku 'Ukar', 'cause our way of their beautiful pottery art is funky and backwards.

OMG Ashley, I love it. You said this was one of the two more elaborate bowls. Where's the other one. I'm curious to see it. This is really awesome though.

This is a really cool cup. I think I am just fanish about the use of the dragon. I sadly though didn't understand anything past the first part of your description. I am just not cool enough to know any of that. None the less still an awesome cup!
