Don't get depressed, you should know that no artist is already good at first...you'll surely learn a lot of things a long the way then you'll get better.
Me too, i experienced being depressed because i can't seem to create a good photo manipulation, but that was when i was just starting.
And all i can advice is try different things, don't stop making manipulations cause it's the only way you'll discover what you lack and what you need to improve...
And by the way, seriously, compared to other artist's work here in dA you are already doing a good job on your works so please make more
