Cause no one picked horses on my poll >:C you'll get a pony instead of cars -.-'Well My little pony isn't entirely my thing- not with the new bullshit of a remake they claim to be my little pony now. I went with the classic pony that actually looked more like a pony then a circle with sticks and a head attached to it. Fizzy is a G1 unicorn Twinkle Eyed Pony released in year four (1986). So she's an 80 style and one that I actually like along with a few others that I might draw who knows.

your fizzy came out gorgeously. I recently got one myself and she's just as pretty as I remembered her being when I was a kid. I don't like the style of the new ponies, theyΒ don't look like anything equine to me. but that's ok, to each their own. I'm hoping next gen the toys will look more like G1 or G3. not holding my breath though

I'm not a mlp fan, specially because of the g4 plastic candy cotton rainbow blllaaaarrrghhh
but when i was a kid, i used to buy and play the "older" pony figurines

hahah i watched only 2-3 episodes of "MLP FiM" and i didn't really like the show. As i said before, i dontw like the animation style which looks like everything is made of plastic, sugar, cotton candy and food colors
hahah my old figurines just randomly got lost, and one was eaten by dog

I feel ya on the dog thing, when I was a kid my uncle's dog chewed off a foot and part of a leg on my Sweet Pop (and gutted my easter bunny) I was so mad at him.

i ain't even brave enough to watch it xD animation style just went lazy in my opinion just full out meh >.o yeah i saw all the art- glad its no longer a huge thing like it was. haha omg colouring books xD i had one of them given to me. I also got one of those 'just paint with water' books too < those were awesome

i see those paints sometimes in the stores, but they are not as good as the ones i used to buy when i was younger... and there are only 6 colors available in very small bottles. When i was a kid, i could buy this kind of paints in gazillion colors and larger bottles

no I was so disappointed when they changed it !! and not only did they change the pony format but also Β the expressions and personality of some of the ponies from G3 Β to G4 , like Rainbowdash used to be a girly pony ( hated mud Β was alwasy calling people "darling" ) Rairaty was a young unicorn ( acted just like a little kid just wanted to have fun ) pinky pie was the smart and reliable one... *sigh* so much has changed

I know, they completely destroyed RD. I liked her when she was the posh girly one and not a pegasus. As for Pinkie yeah smart reliable and pretty compared to now. Never watched the ones rairaty...but yeah i agree 100% as much as i know things need to move forward, they should stick to what the character originally was not change them look and personality. thats how you lose fans. And now g4 is suppose to be better? haha nope thats the crappiest version of mlp ever made

yeah never got to see that one, shall see if i can find it on the net, most likely can somewhere xD but yeah those that like it most likely have never seen the G1/2/3 series to even know what they are missing. My honest opinion is the designers slacked off with redesigns and clearly don't know how to keep the originals as they are as well as make them better. I mean hell looking back at the 1986 movie and one of the "well known" ponies now, Fluttershy is exactly the same as Rosedust, only wing design, eye colour and cutie mark are changed.Β
Shameful, I'm sticking to the ones that started it all not the new crap they claim is mlp.

It's good to see some people still drawing G1 style ponies given the obsession over G4 ponies. I do like G4 / FIM. But I also like G1 and G2 (G3 I'm not real fond of). Most of the fans today aren't old enough to remember G1 and tend to criticize it a lot. It annoys me when they do.

Was born in the 90's so having my cousin leave a few of the old my little pony books at my nan's place I was able to see what the original ponies looked like. As well as finding the My little Pony movie, I stuck with the ponies that well to be honest actually resembled the real thing and not what they call G4. Not a fan of anything past G3 to be honest. Everything past then lacks actual work and thought into the designs :/
