Description
I am black and white.
Forever the world is caught in my game
of right and wrong.
In this world there IS grey but most
fail to see it, convinced there is only
black or white.

I am a pair of twins. Opposites,
yet completing the other and
undeniably one entity. Two put
together to detest one another,
but when apart, unconditionally
drawn to each other.

I am a lone piano.
Ivory and ebony keys.
One beside the other. Sweet
beautiful treble intertwined by
ink with a dark sour bass. Both
playing their part in the song while
i pit them against each other in war,
to create harmony.

I am black and white.
I wonder why the birds fly south.
I hear the ripples of time destroying the world.
I see the skull's glittering crystal eyes gleaning into my future.
I want to live forever.
I am black and white.

I pretend that life is a game and a gamble.
I feel the chasm between good and evil.
I touch upon the surface of false innocence.
I worry my soul will cease to exist.
I cry the tears of a thousand damned souls.
I am black and white.
I understand the world will always be caught in the dance of war.
I say false truths and true lies.
I dream of flying and of falling.
I try to see in black and white but I can only see the infinite shades of grey.
I hope to be free, free of shackles, free from mortality.
