This was sometime after Ichiro was born. Kagome was very tired after a rough night so Inuyasha took Ichi out early in the morning for a walk so she could sleep a little more.
You should've seen the village women's reactions. They were giggling and waving and calling both Inuyasha and Ichiro "cute".
