Cool. Always nice to see fanart. I don't come on here very often so its lucky that I checked in so soon after you posted this.
I can't draw to save my life so I appreciate anyone who uses their own artistic talents to create fanart of my characters.
When I get to the time-skip I'll probably pay for another two commissions to celebrate. But even with the faster update schedule that I've been on lately, I won't get to that point for another few years.
Thanks for bringing Ricky to life and for your continued support of my story. It means the world to me.

Ricky's like a sly older brother of Luffy (yes, he and Luffy shared sake cups). He is also Nami's love interest in the story (I know, I was kind of upset when I found out, but hey, it's 's story, not mine).

(The only guys that I like Nami being paired up with are Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Law. If you've seen my faves, you'd know that I like those pairs, but LuNa's my main one.

Also, the reason why Ricky's wearing that eye patch over his right eye is because Blackbeard attacked him once, causing Ricky to lose it, but one day Ricky found "The Devil's Eye".

Yeah. The Devil's Eye is evil. It grants Ricky telekinetic abilities, but the more Ricky uses it, the less humane he becomes.

Well (spoiler alert), Ricky recently broke up with her because of it. He's afraid for her safety.

Yeah...Nami didn't take it well, and neither did Sanji. He beat up Ricky for it, and Ricky actually accepted it.

Nami wants to help him control it. She sees the person he is and wants to help him prevail over the Eye. She doesn't back down and at the climax of Another Nakama III she even stands and fights against the Eye when Ricky has completely lost control.
Nami is passionate, stubborn and intense. That's why I picked her for the pairing. Ricky needs someone that can keep him on his toes and help him heal some of his old emotional scars. Meanwhile, Ricky is scared of the Eye hurting her and wants to protect her so that inevitably causes a major strain in their relationship.
You might not like the idea of an OCxNami pairing but I've done my best over the years to write them into a realistic relationship. This isn't one of those stories where I just plugged an OC into the story so I could make him get with Nami. They have obstacles to overcome and they have to work hard at their relationship. Just like in real life.
But I think their personalities compliment each other and they both bring something out of the other that makes them a better person.
