Wow, that shadow effect is GREAT! It really fits the ominous tone of this game.
Much as I love Ocarina of Time, and as much as I love a great deal of other N64 games (Banjo Kazooie and Rayman 2 being among them), Majora's Mask is probably one of my favorite games of all time.

I love N64 games too, especially the hub-world collectathons like Mario 64 and Banjo. Majora's Mask is so dark and evil and it's so different from the other Zelda games in the series.

Man, i love hub world games! What ever happened to that? I guess Mario Galaxy still does that sort of thing, but...I dunno....
I actually kinda recommend people who are into horror or who are writers of dark fantasy to play Majora's Mask.. It really is a masterpiece of suspense, where the player feels a constant sense of dread. Not to mention the fact that it has some extremely well-designed enemies, NPCs, and backgrounds. That Ikana canyon area still gives me the willies.....
