Name :: Sygalga (sigh-gal-guh)

Gender :: Mare

History :: Once, long ago, a man saved the life of one of the Earthkings (long story lol). To repay him for his services, the Earthking brought seven horses from his kingdom across the sea to Erláin and gave one to each of the first seven races, Northmen, Dhal, Giants, Ghahar, Elvaer, Edrloch, and Wizards. These were the first horses.

These seven horses are, when referred to as a group, called the Nenar.

Sygalga serves the Northmen. Immortal, she is bound to their fate. Since they chose darkness, she was Transformed into a monster.

Sygalga means ‘twisted rose.’ Originally, it was supposed to mean beautiful. But through her changes, it meant evil and corrupted.

In the ancient days, Sygalga was the most beautiful of the Nenar. She was one of two horses to ever have a pure white coat, her sister, Rielyin being the only other. Her long, flowing mane and tail were white as well. Her pupil-less eye was a vibrant, rose coloured pink. Flowers crowned her, and she had a small, slight build. But as her people, the Northmen, chose a darker path, so did she. When the Transformation occurred, Her eyes darkened to a bloody red, and her coat is a dirty gray. Horns of various sizes appeared in groups of three all along her body.

Despises Wizards and Elves more than the other races.

Elvaer, because when she was still of the Light, they were guarded and cautious around her. She knows that they feared her destruction, and were not willing to swoon over her beauty. She is jealous of their knowledge, and respects them in a really weird confusing way, although she despises them, because they saw in her what she herself either refused or couldn’t see. And because her sister sided with them.

Description :: Filthy grey coat colour. Mane and tail are coated with dirt and blood. Build close to that of a small quarter horse or thoroughbred. Blood red, pupil-less eye. Three horns of different sizes on her forehead, white star on forehead, always taunting her and reminding her of her previous glory. Horns in groups of 3 or 4 in lines along her body. Left ear is shredded from the last war she was in.

Personality :: Sygalga was more active in the lives of the Northmen than most of her kin. Is impatient, ruthless, proud, and bloodthirsty, especially for the blood of Wizards and Elves.
