Kind of an old one this is my lolita alice in wonderland dress.Made from an old quilt cover (the blue) and the apron was a modified pattern and mostly made up but it turned out pretty good.
First time making a lolita type dress and i loved it!
I have a picture of me and my alice dress, when it was new, in my scraps.

Well not an exact one for this exact dress. The skirt is a circle skirt and the bodice is a simple pattern made by myself (that has now been changed)The ruffles and anything else is just made up by myself.
Livejournal is where i found alot of inspiration. Hope that makes sense/helps

Your dress is really good! Did you make the patter your self? Was it hard? I'm trying to go for an Alice Lolita this year and need some tips on how to make this dress. Major question! How long did it take you?

I did look at lolita dress patterns on livejournal and modified them for myself. It was a totally new project for me so it was a little difficult at first! I suggest you look for a dress style you like and try it out. Practise really does make perfect
It took me longer to make the apron as i made it up as i went along, Id say the dress took about 2days to finish fully.

Thanks for responding back! I started but my sewing machine fritzed out on me (its a 50 year old singer) i have okay basic skills and can do most stuff but lolita is up there... thanks!
