It amazes me why people even support these.
And when I say "amazes" I mean "disgusts"

I know, same really. The funny thing is, I knew these were fucking cruel when I was 7, SEVEN. and you have grown ass people attending these cheering on animal abusers. Why cant people enjoy a normal animal human sport, like cross country competitions, show jumping, etc. hell even horse racing which i don't entirely support either is still more humane than rodeos.Β

I never understood what exactly happened in rodeos for a long time, but when I found out I was mortified that they even allowed this to be a thing when things like dogfights are illegal.Β
At least horse racing doesn't guarantee a painful end for the poor creatures. I just don't understand how anyone could find amusement out of hurting innocent animals. It's revolting. Same with hunting for sport.Β

well, the first (and last rodeo) i was taken to (by my grandparents) I saw a horse and rider lasso a branco's front legs and it obviously tripped and fell and the noise that came out of that poor horse's mouth was terribly saddening and it couldn't get up and walk, they had to have two people and a horse pull him up to his feet again to move him off the arena. and because of the fucktarded world that animal 'entertainment' is they probably put him down because he couldn't run or anything anymore with his busted legs like that.Β
Horse racing, while not as bad as rodeos, or even dog racing at that is still inhumane in some regards, considering many of the horses in racing careers are injected with and fed rather unnatural chemicals and enhancements (not necessarily steroids) but this combined with vigorous round the clock training Β with little rest in between can shorten a horse's life-span dramatically. if they dont die prematurely there's also long lasting effects of such a lifestyle on the animals, my dad's mom ran a little riding school and stable for about 20 years and one of her adopted horses was a retired race horse who dealt with painful muscle spasms and he had breathing problems also that he had to be on medication for to control and it was because his body had been put through so much shock. of course things like this are prevented by responsible handlers and owners, and some race horses live perfectly fine lives-- but a lot of people would sooner have money and fame than Β a healthy companion and that's where the issue lies.Β
and im with you on the hunting thing, i really don't support any hunting unless you are like in the middle of nowhere miles and miles from a convenience store or town for shopping etc. There's no need for it, we aren't poor little humans struggling for survival anymore, we have farms, we breed animals for slaughter to sustain ourselves- but no, on top of the thousands of animals we kill a day for food we have to add wild animals minding their own business to the death toll because "hurr durr im a asshole 10 mins away from a grocery store but i sore du love venison" and wild animals don't need us to control their populations like some dipshits think, you know what does that Just fine? predators, like wolves, coyotes, bears, foxes etc that we keep pushing further and further away and towards extinction. Nothing angers me more than humans thinking we have the right to manipulate the world and it's creatures because 'we're the superior species' tbh, still waiting for james cameron avatar like shit when mother nature says she's had e-fucking-nough and we have animals n other forces of nature fighting back against the cruel shits of this world.Β
(actually, it could be starting already given there's a disease going around in predatory animals that makes them literally have zero fear towards humans or civilization, show on animal planet covered this and there was straight up mountain lions walking down the street of a busy city and a group of coyotes that ripped a hunter to shreds in his own cabin that snuck in through his dog door)Β

Honestly I find this cruelty so interesting because the second someone says they're pro-choice it's "WE CAN'T DECIDE TO END THE LIFE OF ANOTHER LIVING, BREATHING CREATURE" but the second we talk about abusing and/or killing animals it's perfectly fucking fine.
It's just hypocrisy like that that really gets my attention. It's amazing how people don't see the lack of logic in that. Cause you aren't pro-life if you don't care about every life. You have to either care for all of them or you're just pro-fetus. And you know they ain't gonna admit to that.
But I'm getting off topic. To put it bluntly I hope every last animal abuser is killed by the animal they hurt so much and I feel no guilt in saying that. Abusers of all kind don't deserve my or anyone's pity.
