Regis lives just outside the big city zootopia and manages a cozy little library, he's a bit old fashioned and in touch with his feminine side, socially awkward and easy to fluster. Despite this he's well organized, bearing a mild case of ocd, he loves sushi, soccer, books and reading of course, and does freelance writing and poetry on his own though he feels he's not good enough to publish or do anything with it. He was the runt of his litter, with two older brothers and one younger sister, a busy body mother who isn't the stereotypical warm over bearing clingy type- she's rather aloof, only stepping in if her children misbehave or are in trouble, she works as a wrestling ring manager and his father, the more nurturing involved parent works part time at a bakers shop, the rest of the time home with his pups.

Regis, while dedicated to his library and books, does aspire to meet his partner somewhere and would love to adopt a child in need when the time is right.
