This was originally going to be my final project for my art class, but decided that it wasn't enough. (now I'm going with a Nightmare Before Christmas themed project XD)

Drawing this actually made me really frustrated. Not because it was so detailed (actually that was the fun part), but because people seem to think that the things I do best at aren't actually that good. I mean, they think it looks good and all, but they just don't get it!
I'm most passionate about my video games, be it Legend of Zelda OR Kingdom Hearts, and I use that passion to fuel my artistic abilities. It's not uncommon for people to draw what they love the most. But the thing is, what I love the most is what people aren't impressed by.
I've made plenty of great art projects this year, and people have been complimenting me on the things that I don't actually care about a whole lot. But once I complete something that I actually really like (using Skull Kid as an example), and something that I'm really proud of, people just don't seem to care at all!
And don't even get me started on my parents. They'd rather me draw a bowl of fruit instead of what I draw now =_=

Oh well. What can I do about it...?
