update: im trying to reupload this pic since the new DA seems to screw it up for me
this is actually an equal mix of acrylic and watercolour,..im trying out a new kind of watercolour paper..and i love it more than the usual block kind of watercolour im used to use..
. I used acrylic as a substitute for watercolour because im too cheap to buy new tubes
. i used a rather limited palette for this pictureacrylic: crimson, cerulean blue, mars black.
watercolour: quinacidrone rose, yellow ochre, lamp black inspired by Malice Mizer

The first pic from you that I saw were those vampire twins, and it was like one year or more, in Elfwood. Then, like about 2 months ago, I started to look at all you internet galleries, to see if there was another pic from you left that I hadn't seen. It took me so much time to decide if I should write a comment here, and the, I realized that every artist wants to know what people think about them, so here I am. I chose this one, the bloodroses, because it's one of my favourites.
I love all those shades that you put in your drawings, and your use of black mixed with bright colours. Sorry for my mistakes. My English isn't very good.
Well, I think it's done. Continue painting, because you will go far. You have talent.

The contrast of blacks and vibrant reds on the white of her skin and the pale pinkish white of her dress is wonderful - I think this is another fantastic piece by you - I run out of good things to say ^_^

I really love this one. the blood roses are a cliche of the dark family but this gaves (with the pink ones on the dress) a really personal touch to it.

lovely colors... i like the color scheme, details, roses... really delicate piece..the lady looks really cold, reminds me of this story where this character uses blood to keep her warm or somethingy.

wow... this is stunning.. I love how the lips are blood red. The effect of making them stand out with the bloody rose over the washed and diluted colours everywhere else is what makes the bold statement. Perhaps a statement of lust. I don't know what you meant by this peice. But i can tell you what I get from this.. "Even the most beautiful and delicate things can have a dark side." Well done. You are slowly becoming one of my favourites here on DA. You're art is refreshing from all the stuff we see day in day out here on this site. Once again.. Well done.

Nice illustration sis. The reason the thumbnail appears bigger is that DA automatically scales the illustration proportionately to the height of the artwork.

Nicely done! I like the design and idea alone, but I love the way you balanced the peice with red like that...course I'm a sucker for red and for blood, and you used two of the mediums I love working in (when my lazy ass actually does do work) If you still have leftovers you should keep going with this style for a while, it's got a great haunted look.
