Kiku/Japan: Definitely, Yuri-kun, it is indeed a very sharp contrast to Singapore’s ultramodern skyline. Besides, this 121-year old temple is modelled after one in China’s Fujian province; very different from what we usually see back in Japan!

Someone decided to play tourist in my own country and venture out to Lian Shan Shuang Lin Monastery (aka Siong Lim Temple) in Toa Payoh last week - a place that I have never visited until then. This temple is one of many ideal places to visit if you want to do away with the usual tourist attractions in Singapore, no matter what your religion may be.

Yuri Katsuki belongs to Mitsuro Kubo, while Kiku Honda/Hetalia Japan belongs to Hidekaz Himaruya.
