Kalina is quickly noted as a very pretty girl with a solid head on her shoulders. She's very set in her own morals, being so sure of herself makes her practically radiate confidence. At least until someone challenges her...Kalina is also very deceptive, while she is trying to be a better person, sometimes she lets her emotions get the better of her judgement. She know's she's good looking and isn't beneath using that to her advantage to get what she desires.
Even if Kalina doesn't like to admit it, she has a selfish streak. She claims to want to change how Sableye are viewed as a whole, but in reality it's mostly because of how she has been treated rather than anyone else. She's a little full of herself despite her good intentions, and definately believes all criminals deserve punishment regardless of how small the crime.

Kalina was born in the Viper's Den to a family of Sableye. While she may be the younger sibling to Ruben, she doesn't quite remember him since he left their home when she was very young. Growing up, if it weren't for her parents she would have thought she was the only child. She might as well have been with the lack of contact she had with her older brother. All she really knew was his name.
Lanier Island was known for it's rough crowd. Kalina was pushed around a lot as a kid for her unique ability to be able to cry little crystals. She was like a free food dispenser to Sableye and other gem-eating pokemon in the area! Not only that, but some even bullied her to use those tears as a form of currency. As a result, Kalina had started to resent those around her. Wishing for some type of justice to occur...
Even if she had to do it herself.
She started to focus heavily on her self image, trying to make herself look as conventionally attractive as possible. She was taking the saying 'kill them with kindness' quite literally by adding her own flair to it. Upping her beauty game, she'd sway and charm her bullies into giving her the funds they earned with her tears. Her ways may have been a bit selfish and unconvientional, but she was convinced it was justice. From there, her bad habits continued. Naturally, she continued to hide behind a mask of charisma and by just being the 'sweet girl' stereotype.
As she grew older, she decided to move away from Lanier. It was full of criminals and she didn't want to be associated with them. She wanted to do so much more-- but it seemed that no matter where she went, plenty of pokemon seemed to clutch onto their bags just a little bit tighter when they realized she was a Sableye. It made her realize just how judgemental this world could be. So a new goal sprouted to mind, one she was determined to make a reality.
She was going to change how the world viewed her kind, one step at a time! Not all Sableye were bad or thieves, and she'd prove it by being...Good! Being good was hard, especially since she has a slight skew on her own morals in terms of what is good and bad....Regardless, it wasn't long until she found a perfect opportunity to become an even better Sableye than she had been the day before. Team Ghost Maiden was inside of the Overgrown Tomb, they were members of the GCSF right? She's heard of them!
With her charming ways and kind words, she managed to convince them to let her join their team.

When she gets really emotional, she cries. Her tears start out as liquid but turn into crystals as they slide off her cheeks! When she's really sad...She eats them.
She's trying really hard to be a good Sableye and not have sticky fingers...But its hard when shiny things are in front of her.
She absolutely loves tropical weather and themes!
She is the younger sister of g1rk 's character Ruben!
Her favorite gem to snack on is Ruby's, too bad she cries Sapphires...
