Poster for our major gig, for those of you in australia you'd of heard of the flairz, they are performing with some of our top local bands so should be an awsome gig.think we'll e keeping this kinda theme for the posters,.. its like an identity thing.
anytho.. lots of infor had to get on this poster, tryed my best still not totally happy with the look but i cant really do it any other way.
all the important shits on there without making it look like a boiled cabbage.

what font did you used for the "Crank it UP" ? I know you used Base02 for "louder" but what is the font of that other text?
and in the right corner is that a kind of tree? with very weird lines around? how did you made that?

the outline is simply arial or somthing, but the rest is my own work around it.

cool cool you work with illustrator! In illustrator I am a realy noob! and there aren't many GOOD tutorials to find about it.. Can't you write a tut about how you made this piece of art? I would love to know how to make those weird shapes!

i may do in time, but tutorials take alot of time to write an im very busy.. but i will try some time.

Hmm I am trying it my self in Illustrator but when I try the lines wich make it 3D-ish I have a very big problem I have a pritty tick line when I am using the pencil tool Do you know where I can change the tickness?

we didnt use it in tafe, but it does wee's and poo's on freehand...

you probably want to get your hands on 'corel painter 9', its like the bomb diggety with character colouring and drawing on computer.
