Finished version.Because I made the background on another page I did a little fix with photoshop
Final materials: charcoal, color pencils and digital media.

very cool. the back round althoguh you sya it was done with realmadia still has the same feel as the rest of the pic in regards ot style and all. not to mention a great coloring job. very cool.

I really like this -- very industrial/grimey/mechanical environment. the cabling/pipes and whatnot everywhere is nicely colored 
The only thing that confuses me is the perspective. I'm not sure if they're really high up, since the feet are just kinda dangling and there doesn't seem to be a definite ground since it's all foggy --or if they're really close to the ground, assuming that's a leg for the bench thats sticking out below.
Anywho, great piece.

Yeah they are definitely not close to the ground
I think Alphaleo is smiling because he likes his job a lot.
The effect on the environment was to make it seem like a really damaged piece to repair. I wanted to put some oil or something on the floor or dripping from the piece of metal but... I thought that was too much.
