An awesome card reveled by coro, after some small thought on this guy and his counter part pairing it with Alteria or, even with just a Volcarona this thing is very threatening. with the ability to do 150~170 with out a boost or 170~190 with alteria, or 150~190 with volcarona...his gonna be smashing every thing.The art work featured was by the ever epic artist Xous54

I don't see this card actually being good... Rayquaza is so much better in the same type and needs less cards...

this is true, how ever rayquaza-EX also runs in terror of other dragons as well, preferably other non EX rayquaza, or that ever so lovely Garchomp that can deal 100 damage for 2 energy and 60 damge for 1..vs other dragons thats 120, and 200 for low cost attacks and add alteria in there...whooo 80 for 1 energy and an alteria. @~@;;
its going to be a tough one figuring out which dragon will Reign supreme until we actually get them....but so far japan is reporting Garchomp+Alteria a scary scary thing to face.

The non EX Rayquaza cannot one-shot the EX one, which makes her utterly weak IMO... Garchomp being playable seems a little surprising. A return of stage2s is coming soon? Sounds unbelievable.

yeah Japanese nationals was won by hydregion + Darkrai, and second placed to Garchomp+Alteria, with i think empoleon+terrakion+areodactly in the top8...i gotta re-read the report.
also normal rayquaza can easily destroy rayquaza-EX seeing how ray-EX only has 170HP, and normal Ray can deal 180 dmg to ray-EX with an earlier set up, garchomp is just scary over 60+(if alteria is in play) dmg for 1 energy plus they lose a special energy if any...of course japan is also playing only BW+ cards nothing below BW1.

yes but there where only 2 or 3 in the top 16. which surprised me...
there's also this one with mewtwo-EX, Terrakion, Buffolaunt (BW6) that had 2 in top cut.

Excellent! I love your effects around the card, they are so EPIC! Is this card really that good? The attacks are powerful. but I kinda thought it was asking for a lot of energies that don't go together (is there even a water/fire deck that could survive in a match?)

yes they do actually help out alot, the're is a deck list out in japan that has the new hydregion, and darkrai-EX....once 1 of each is out there, pokemon catacher is virtually useless, and you can heal every thing with max potion.
