I mean i refuse to celebrate that cheek
because it seems Spongebob became overdone and unfunny when that became his permanent cheek.
thats why i still draw Spongebob his old cheeks, i'll only watch anything of Spongebob if he smiles with his old cheeks, ill only buy something of Spongebob if it has his old cheek on it.
that's what boycott means.

Well, sometimes he actually did his "new" cheek smile in the old episodes too. I don't really think his cheek are the real problem with him these days. I'd say he has personality issues.
I have only seen a very few episodes of the newer seasons, and I Still draw him with the so called "new" cheeks. Why? Because it's just my style. 8/ I'm not trying to adapt to the new style or anything, but trust me, it looks better for me when I draw his "new" cheeks...

I know i know, but in the old episodes the "new" cheek was saved for Extremes
but it's just easier to destinguish old!Spongebob and New!Spongebob because the "extreme" cheek is the norm for new!Spongebob for all the new episodes.
It's another one of his personality issues.
And let's face it, it's annoying for me to Look At. doesnt his face Hurt from smiling so Strongly all the time like that?
But lilly You were drawing the new cheek Before Spongebob went bad, plus, you draw him in instances where the cheek makes sense.
Me, im sticking to drawing the old cheek, because, well eitherway i Like it more anyway.

I prefer the old cheek too, but I don't draw it as well as the "new" cheek.
But if I would make a SpongeBob comic or something, I'd probably draw his old cheeks most of the time, and then when he's smiling widely I'd draw his new cheeks. something like that.
