These planets you made look really realistic! I have a question: How do you make those planet's surface so smooth and clear?

The surfaces are actually made up of about 80-100 Google Earth screenshots, all placed into a 10000x10000 300dpi document then merged and edited together to create one massive seamless texture. Most of the time the planets are down-scaled in the final image which helps make them even clearer. Lots of other editing, such as sharpening, colour correcting, and adding details is also done to help make it clear from very close up.
Each wallpaper takes around 8-10 hours to complete.
